Four Aces
I attended an International Draft Horse Show a while back. This mule team was part of the competition. I enjoyed the way the sun reflected on their coats, the sparkle of the metal on the harnesses, and the shadows cast on the ground underneath them, which I've tried to capture in this drawing. They were a four piece puzzle.

Game Face
I loved watching the horse in this drawing work. When it came time to rest I don't think he was ready. You can see it in his face. He wanted to keep going.
